We invite you to join us at the beautiful Canggu Terrace in Bali for 6 days of health, wellness and education from the 3rd to the 9th of May 2015.

These beautiful Villas are located in Bali’s Agricultural belt 20 minutes north of Seminyak. Each Villa is double story, with a private pool, 2/3 bedrooms complete with beautifully appointed bathrooms. All tastefully decorated in modern Balinese, these Villas will delight from the water walls and fish ponds, to the stone floors and rustic dining areas….they are truly beautiful villas.

Views from all bedrooms and living areas of the lush rice fields…..your accommodation is luxurious with a hint of rustic and completely private from the outside world!

Frequently asked questions

How many people can attend the Retreat?

Our retreat is designed to give individualised attention to each client. A maximum of 12 places are available. First to register and pay their deposit will secure their spot.

Do I book my own flights?

You will be responsible for booking your own flights. We would suggest booking flights to arrive the morning of the retreat and return flights late afternoon/evening of our final day.

Alternatively you may wish to spend a few days either side of your retreat experience enjoying all Bali has to offer.

How do I get to the Retreat?

A driver will be available to pick you up from the airport and bring you direct to the Villa. If you are arriving a few days early we can arrange a driver to collect your from your accommodation (an additional charge may apply)

Will my dietary needs be catered for?

Yes, we will cater for all special dietary needs. Wheat/dairy/gluten free/vegetarian/vegan etc.

Your registration form will have provision for you to supply your requirements.

All meals will be prepared by a local chef under the supervision of our Dietitian Carolina.

Is the Retreat alcohol free?

No, alcohol may be enjoyed in moderation. Alcohol is not included in the retreat costs, with the exception of Champagne on our first night, at the pre-dinner drinks get together.

Can you help arrange someone to share a room with me?

If you are traveling solo and would like to share a room, we will do our best to match you to a suitable room buddy.

Unfortunately if there are no other singles wishing to share, you will need to occupy a room by yourself.

Are the activities/seminars/workshops compulsory?

No, we would however encourage you to participate and gain the most out of your retreat experience. Sometimes extending yourself outside your comfort zone is a liberating experience.

Will there be time to do nothing?

Yes there will be plenty of time to reflect and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Relax by the pool, read a book, or just be…’s your Retreat and we encourage you to listen to your body!

Meet our team

Kaz Windon

Director/Retreat Co-ordinator


Kaz is our Program Manager and Director of Real Food Real Weightloss and will be your hostess and go-to person throughout your retreat experience.

For the last 10 years she has been the Practice Manger of 3 of Australia’s largest Holistic Health Clinics and leads our team with a unique and personalized approach to health and wellness. She works closely with our staff, providing the tools and training they require to support our clients throughout their health and weightloss journey.

Working closely with Dr Coates, Kaz has facilitated hundreds of weightloss programs, supporting each client through their program, encouraging them to obtain the best possible results. Over the last 3 years she has been instrumental in researching and implementing changes to our program as necessary.

She has a ‘get the job done’ attitude and will offer you all of the support, professionalism, motivation, advice and humour required, ensuring you gain the most out of your time in Bali and leave feeling recharged and ready to take on the world!


Dr Karen Coates

MD, Dip. Obstetrics, Royal Australian College of Gynaecologists

KarenMedical advisor to some of Australia’s highest profile celebrities and elite athletes, Dr Karen has over 30 years’ experience in the Health arena, with degrees in Medicine and Surgery, postgraduate qualifications in Obstetrics, Nutritional and Environment Medicine.

Nationally recognised for her expertise in Women’s health, Karen writes regularly for the Australian Women’s Health Magazine as their in-house expert on integrative medicine. She has also delighted readers of Marie Claire, Vogue, and Prevention Magazines. She is a sought after expert in the nutritional arena for programs such as Today Tonight and A Current Affair.

Along with her conventional medical work, she is also an experienced herbalist. An advocate for self-responsibility in health, she has a passion for teaching and a gift for explaining complex health concepts in easy to understand terminology. She is a published author of Embracing the Warrior, an essential guide for Women, and mother of two.


Deirdre Parkinson

Naturopathic Practitioner; Medicinal Herbalist, Nutritionist, Iridologist, Bachelor Social Science Nursing & Psychology, Yoga Teacher

DeeDeirdre specializes in holistic health for men, women and children. The majority of her patients are women, seeking solutions to problems with their hormones and their weight. Once they understand that no part of their body is isolated from the rest, they realise that a good practitioner treats the whole body, not simply specializes in one part. All bodies, whether young or old, male or female, benefit enormously from the same effective holistic treatment.
Dee has 30 years’ experience in the medical profession, initially as a registered nurse and midwife, and then as a Naturopath. During these years she has continually updated her knowledge through teaching/lecturing in both fields.

Feeling passionate about bringing health and wellbeing to her patients, Deirdre derives great pleasure in sharing all that she has learnt. This is the primary aim of naturopathy, i.e. to teach you, the patient, how to manage your own health and wellbeing. It is interesting to note that the archaic meaning of doctor is to teach!


Carolina Rossi

Dietitian/Nutritionist APD/ND

CarolinaCarolina completed her undergraduate training in nutrition and dietetics in Brazil. She has spent countless weekends completing post graduate diplomas and certificates, one of these earning her a qualification in Sports Nutrition. She also holds a Masters in Clinical Functional Nutrition, which is similar to a Naturopathy qualification in Australia.

Carolina has over 10 years of experience in private practice and has worked with elite athletes including tennis players, dancers, body builders, cyclists, runners, motorcyclists and adventure racers. She attended the Race Across America, which is a 4,000km cycling competition across the USA, with one of her clients, who became the first Latin American competitor to finish the race.

Carolina has excelled as a dietitian due to her extensive training and her ability to ascertain her patient’s needs, and ensure that they understand why they need to follow their dietary program. Apart from working with athletes, Carolina also provides nutritional advice for women during pregnancy, children, families, and for people with specific conditions such as food allergies, diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
